Artist, (1999 – present) Self-employed, small business owner. Design and create original prints, handmade jewelry, paper collaged lampshades, and artist’s books. Participant in all Vineyard Artisan’s Festivals and Chilmark Flea Market, Martha’s Vineyard, MA.

Assistant Director, The Field Gallery, West Tisbury, MA (1997 – 2002) Assisted with gallery installation and coordination of artist’s receptions, communicated with artists and buyers, wrote artist’s biographies and press releases, made art and gift sales, and helped with daily bookkeeping.

Writer/Freelance Photographer, Digital City Boston, America Online, Boston, MA (2000 – 2001) Provided content material and photographs for online entertainment guide. Performed internet research and wrote descriptions of venues in Chicago. Traveled to photograph various locations in New England and Kauai, HI for destinations guide.

Teaching Assistant, Oak Bluffs Elementary School, Oak Bluffs, MA (Fall 1997 – Spring 1999) Provided one on one assistance for a child with special needs. Modified class assignments and worked to strengthen her reading, writing, and life skills. Assisted all children in the class and helped the teacher with lessons and projects.

Assistant, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Snowmass Village, CO (Summer 1996) Assisted in summer arts workshop series as a general assistant to the art programs. Worked as cashier in campus café, assisted photography classes, and helped with art gallery installation.

Apprentice/Teacher, Seastone Paper Studio, West Tisbury, MA (Winter 1997 – Spring 1999) Created one of a kind handmade books in collaboration with papermaking artist. Learned the papermaking process through working with a mentor. Taught classes on artistic bookbinding techniques.

Facilitator/Intern, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, Woodstock, NY (Summer 1993) Facilitated the summer photography workshop series. Worked with guest artists to run workshops, solved problems quickly and efficiently, and produced a series of photographs documenting the workshops.
